喜欢上一样东西，总是有原因的。每个人喜欢上摇滚也是这样。很多人听摇滚大概是从披头士、地下丝绒、PINK FLOYD等大牌乐队开始的。真正听摇滚之前，我听过披头士、皇后、山羊皮等乐队，但只是泛泛，谈不上喜爱。2002年得到这张Elephant Shoe，于是开始喜爱上摇滚。这样也就不奇怪了，为什么之后我喜欢上像DEAD CAN DANCE的乐队。
Arab Strap乐队成立于1995年，三年后，他们的朋友GlaswegiansBelle和Sebastian通过命名自己的专辑为The Boy With the Arab Strap，表达了他们对Arab Strap乐队的敬意，大多数人由此才知道了Arab Strap乐队两个人的存在，并知道世上还有这么一种玩意儿。
